This coffee is cultivated in the 'Land of the poets' in the West Central Valley region near San Ramon. This regional blend is carefully produced, selected and harvested from varieties such as Caturra, Red Catuai and Villa Sarchi at alititudes of 1200 - 1500 metres above sea level. Smallholder farmers send their coffee to a state of the art mill operated by Cafe de Altura de San Ramon and by doing so gain access to technical support for the best agricultural practices which in turn helps the farmersto improve quality and increase their earnings from coffee.
Tasting notes: Well-balanced, sweet with a malty, nutty and caramel flavour with pleasant acidity.
